Teeth Whitening FAQs
Will the procedure hurt or cause sensitivity?
We use a high quality gel that is designed to minimize tooth sensitivity. Our clients do not experience sensitivity during the whitening process. A very small number of clients have experienced mild sensitivity after their session that subsided in a few hours. Even people with a history of severe sensitivity from whitening in the past have not had sensitivity when coming to LUXE.
Is it safe? Will it weaken my enamel?
Our gels are 100% safe for your enamel and for any dental work you have had done, including fillings, bridges and crowns.
How bright will I get after one session?
Due to many different factors, results will vary and we cannot guarantee specific results. We recommend the LUXE Elevate Series™ if you want to reach your maximum brightness.
Will I have to come back multiple times?
You will achieve drastic results from just one 30 minute session. To reach your whitest possible shade, come back 2 to 4 weeks after your initial treatment.
If you want to reach your brightest shade possible, our LUXE Elevate Series™ package is for you. It is recommended for clients who smoke, drink coffee, tea or red wine, or eat staining foods often.
How long do results last? How often do I need touch ups?
Most clients return every 3 months to maintain their brightest smile year round. Others choose to return at 6 months and are okay with losing some brightness over that time.
This depends on your lifestyle and habits. If you eat and drink staining foods often, we recommend coming in closer to the 3 month mark. Your refresh session will lift any staining that has built up since your last whitening.
